The National Diabetes Prevention Program Site Has a New Look

The National Diabetes Prevention Program Site Has a New Look

We are excited to announce a brand-new look for our National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) website. The new site presents information and resources in a way that is easier to find and more relevant for each type of user.

The National DPP homepage includes general information about the National DPP for everyone and is the gateway for users to find their appropriate section or pages. Information is specifically tailored for these target audiences:
People at risk for type 2 diabetes who may be eligible to participate in the lifestyle change program (LCP) can find information about prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, and preventing type 2 diabetes with the National DPP LCP. They can also see what a CDC-recognized LCP entails, view testimonials from people like them who have benefited from the program, and find a program that best meets their needs. Health care professionals who treat patients at risk for type 2 diabetes can find information about the LCP, including benefits to their patients and practice, eligibility requirements, and resources for screening and referral.

Lifestyle change program providers and employers and insurers interested in offering or covering a CDC-recognized LCP can find information on why and how to join our national effort to prevent type 2 diabetes. Providers that are already implementing or covering a LCP can find additional resources and help from the National DPP Customer Service Center.
Check out the new National DPP website today to find out how you can get involved!
