Eating disorder can affect pregnancy outcome and offspring’s health

A pregnant woman with an eating disorder (ED) needs to be screened for complications more carefully because she is part of a high-risk population, says a new study published in the journal JAMA Psychiatry on November 20, 2019. The risks to the fetus include being born with a small head, and preterm birth.
