National Safety Month
June is National Safety Month. Take some time to reduce the number of hazards you may encounter in your every day life and make a plan for when an emergency arises.
- Keep emergency phone numbers where you can locate them quickly
- Make a first aid kit for your home
- Make a family emergency plan
- Install and maintain smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors
- Keep guns unloaded and locked up. Lock up the ammunition separately.
- Childproof your house
